WELCOME!

Welcome to Retro Lanes, the “Place to Be” in Carson City, Michigan. We’re a USBC Certified Gold Tier Bowling Center built in 1946. Originally named Carson City Lanes, the bowling alley was owned by the same family until 2022 and was renamed Retro Lanes at that time. At the time the bowling alley was built, they hired boys as pinsetters until 1957 when the pinsetting equipment that is currently being used was installed. Beginning in January 2026, Retro Lanes is now locally owned and operated with new owners and new hours!

Retro Lanes hosts both open and USBC-sanctioned leagues, including popular weekly fall sessions like the Wednesday Night Ladies League and various mixed or fun-focused leagues.

My family and I went to Retro Lanes with our special needs. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. This is a must-do for anyone that enjoys family time together! Tonight was my 1st trip back since I was a little one and my sons 1st time there and it wont be out last. The family atmosphere the love for the fellow players on the lane next to us.
